Mixed Foursomes Championships 2026
Mixed Foursomes is one of the oldest and longest continuously held events at Cabramatta Golf Club. First won in 1950 by Mr E. Harwood and Mrs E. Reid, the current 2025 Club Champions are Mr Bryan Murray and Ms Leanne Thompson. The event will be contested over 2 rounds as follows:
- Sunday 8 November 2026
- Sunday 15 November 2026
Played from the first tee, the Cabramatta format provides a true test for competitors where in the first round men will tee-off first, swapping places in the second round where women will tee-off first.
The Championship is one (1) grade only with the following awards
- 36 Hole Scratch Event: Winners (Club Champions) and Runner-ups
- 36 Hole Nett Event: Winners and Runner-ups
- 2 x Daily 18 Hole Scratch Winners and Runner-ups
- 2 x Daily 18 Hole Scratch Winners and Runner-ups
Should there be a tie in the 36 hole Scratch event, then a three (3) hole play-off will occur over holes 16, 17, and 18. If no winner is decided, then the same three (3) holes will be used under sudden-death format until a winner is decided (repeating if necessary). Ties in the Nett Championship will be decided by count back.
Men and women wishing to play in the Mixed Foursomes Championships are advised that the booking sheet will open 1 month prior to the first round to assist in finding playing partners. Due to the numbers of ladies anticipated to be playing in this event, there will be no Ladies Grade, Medley or Mixed event on these days.
Tee times will be available from 7:52 AM to 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM to 11:32 AM off the first tee.
7:52; 8:00; 8:08; 8:16, 8:24, 11:00; 11:08; 11:16; 11:24; 11:32 20 pairs
