Information for Members and Guests
The Cabramatta Golf Club is committed to serving our community and to deliver a venue which provides a pleasant and safe experience for all our members and visitors.Cabramatta Golf Club also has a duty to ensure the health and safety of staff, members and visitors under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW), and under general law. Due to the current uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and Omicron variant and in consultation with many club members and staff, Cabramatta Golf Club have decided to maintain and continue the mandatory vaccination entry policy, currently in place, after 15 December 2021.  The Club will review this position at a later date keeping the best interest of staff, members and visitors to the Golf Club. Those who are not fully vaccinated have a higher risk of transmitting the coronavirus to workers and patrons. Given the overwhelming research supporting these findings, precluding patrons who are not fully vaccinated will reduce the likelihood that fully vaccinated staff and patrons will be exposed to the coronavirus, or contract COVID-19 or any new variant. While the Club is implementing other controls to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission, as outlined in its COVID-19 safety plan, the level of mitigation from excluding those who are not fully vaccinated cannot be achieved through other available controls. All staff, members, guest and contractors will need to continue to show proof they are fully vaccinated, or have a medical exemption, and sign in using our electronic system which includes the QR service before they are allowed entry. This decision will allow staff, members and visitors peace of mind when visiting the Club. We thank you for your understanding and continued support.
